Saturday Dances for Jam 2012

2012 Primary and Favorite Dances.  Saturday at the Jam, we'll do the Primary Dances and the 30 Favorite Dances that have been selected by the Jamboree Instructors.  The Primary Dances are the 8 or 9 new dances selected each year for the Jam after the Farmers Branch Workshop in April.  Nominations for dances for the Farmers Branch Workshop are complete.  Check Nikki Simpson's website or the Workshop 2012 page for more info on the new dances nominated for Jam 2012.

The 30 Favorite Dances  are listed below.

Below, click on the name of the dance for a step sheet.  Most of the links are to Copperknob.com.  Copperknob usually has a video with the step sheet.  Click on the "" for a other videos.  You might also try YouTube.com or the choreographer's website for a video... Kickit has an extensive list of choreographer websites, as does the World Line Dance Newsletter.

Angela Moshauer, a Texas line dance instructor in El Paso, also has a nice set of videos for the Jamboree dances and the split floor dances.  Check her website and specifically the video page.

Open dances will be done at the Open Dance Party on Friday afternoon and during breaks on Saturday.
