Need accommodations during Jamboree 2008?

 

Area Lodging.  The following table lists some accommodations in the Austin area that have courtesy agreements with the Jamboree.  Depending on the route, all these hotels are 8 to 9 miles from the Expo Center. 

 

For the hotels in the table below, this map shows their location relative to the Expo Center... click on the markers shown on the map for the name of the hotel... some of the hotels are clustered so close together you can't see all the markers.  The 5 blue markers have a North I-35 address, the 4 red markers have a South I-35 address, and the green marker is near the Capitol.  And, you can get driving directions from your hotel to the Expo Center using MapQuest.

 

If you are bringing your RV, the Expo Center has hookups.  For rates, check Section "F" of the Rental Fees table for the Expo Center.

Please note the rates in the following table do NOT include the hotel tax.  A courtesy agreement has been signed with the hotels to guarantee the room rates.  Be sure to ask for the rates for the Texas Line Dance Jamboree and confirm the rate and cancellation information with the hotel.  You may have to guarantee the room with a credit card.  Many hotels offer special discounts for members of AAA, AARP, and similar groups.  The Jamboree does not endorse any of the hotels in the list over any other.

Complete Your Plans.  The University of Texas will be on the road the weekend of the Jamboree, otherwise football fans would have offered strong competition for area accommodations.  However, we still recommend you make your lodging and other reservations as soon as possible.
